Rules for flying in Herm
In addition to the Club Rules, to fly in Herm, one must also abide by these rules and procedures;
- You will need to phone the Hem Administration Office, on 01481-750000, and ask for permission at least one day before flying. They will be aware of any activities taking place which may prevent flying. They will also know the current location of any grazing stock which may have to be moved in advance of arriving.
- Herm has many sensitive habitats for plants and animals. Be particularly careful not to damage them.
- No flying at the Belvoir site, or anywhere south of the line between the harbour and the north headland of Belvoir, between 1 March and 31 July. See the sites document1 for full details.
Note1: If you are a club member and log-in there are additional documents that you can view relating to the Herm Islands sites.
