Learning to Fly
Have you ever looked up around Pleinmont or Jerbourg and seen Paragliders silently gliding through the sky and wondered what it was all about? What's it like to fly free from power? How do they get the skills to do what they are doing?
Guernsey sites are not suited for learning and we therefore have no flying schools here. Consequently you will have to become qualified elsewhere before you can join our club and fly in Guernsey.
The list below are some of the flying schools that local members were successfully trained at. The full list of certified schools can be obtained via the BHPA website.
